Swamped Message

Use this button to call for help when scheduled service providers are present, but the service is overwhelmed with traffic.

To send a swamped call, click the Swamped button below, enter the email address associated with your account on the AskAway website, and send out a call for assistance to the service providers list. Once help has arrived and the traffic to the service is being handled, let the rest of the AskAway community know that no additional help is necessary by sending the Cancel Swamped message. Click the Cancel Swamped button below, enter the email address associated with your account on the AskAway website and click send.

Update - January 22, 2025

Do not use the "Send Swamped" button below, as it is not working reliably.

Instead, use your email to send a Swamped message using the email template below:

Subject: AskAway swamped - Assistance needed

Hello,

If possible, could you please log on to AskAway to assist us?

Short-staffed Messages

Day-time short-staffed

Use this button when you’re short staffed on a day-time shift (Monday – Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm PT). To send out a call for help click the button, enter the email address associated with your account on the AskAway website, and a message requesting support will be sent to the service providers list. Once help has arrived, let the AskAway Community know that no further help is needed by sending out the Cancel message.

Evenings and Weekends short-staffed

Use this button if you're short-staffed on an evening or weekend shift (weekdays after 5pm PT, Saturdays, or Sundays). To send out a call for help click the button, enter the email address associated with your account on the AskAway website, and send out a call for assistance to the evenings-weekends service providers list. (Note: You must be subscribed to the evenings-weekends list to use this button and send a message to the list). Once help has arrived, let the AskAway Community know that no further help is needed by sending out the Cancel message.
