Just a heads up that the BCIT web site which includes the Library is undergoing a face-lift. As of Saturday it will look substantially different. None of the actual content has changed, however, just the look of the main page and the navigation.
On another note, I have noticed that a lot of Librarians are not aware of how our Books 24x7 ebook collection access works. In addition to their off-campus login, students and faculty have to register with Books 24x7 using their bcit email address. Books 24x7 will then send them a password. This is very confusing for students so they often go to Askaway to find out why they can't access these ebooks. For this reason we have created a handout and Screenr presentations to explain it. So if you have questions about Books 24x7, you can refer students to this page:
